The Aussiedoodle is a mixed breed that occurs when a Australian Shepherd is crossed with a Poodle. The Australian Shepherd is an intelligent working dog of strong herding and guarding instincts. They make a loyal companion and has the stamina to work all day. When crossed with a Poodle, the Aussiedoodle breed was born!
Aussiedoodle Breed Information
F1 – First generation cross. 50% Australian Shepherd and 50% Poodle. The F1 Aussiedoodle cross is considered the healthiest, as the parents have the least likelihood of contributing genes for common inheritable diseases.
F1B – A back cross between an F1 Aussiedoodle and a Poodle. 25% Australian Shepherd and 75% Poodle. F1b Aussiedoodles are even more likely to be non-shedding and allergy-friendly.
Aussiedoodle Coat Types:
The F1B Micro-Mini (Tiny) Aussiedoodle puppies will have wavy hair with loose curls and be low to non-shedding. The curlier their coats, the more allergy-friendly they will be. Typically F1 Aussiedoodles are suitable for people with mild allergies. Our F1b Micro (Tiny) Aussiedoodle puppies can have two different types of coats in the same litter. Some will have wavy hair with loose curls very similar to F1 Bernedoodle puppies and will be very low to non-shedding. The others will have curlier hair like their poodle fathers and also be non-shedding.
By 2-3 weeks of age, the different coat types can be properly identified. Curly coated F1b Bernedoodles are best for people with moderate or severe allergies.

The Aussiedoodle is one of the most adorable puppers that you’ll ever be lucky enough to lay your eyes on. The Aussiedoodle is a medium sized, extremely fluffy, and almost unfairly cute breed of designer dog. It was created by crossing an Australian Shepherd and a Poodle. Like most designer dogs created from a pair of purebreds, the Aussiedoodle’s physical characteristics can sometimes vary. But in general, they are a medium/small sized dog with a slim, yet surprisingly strong body. Their coats may vary in color, but they are always curly and sweetly soft to the touch. Just try not to fall in love with one of these things. Is practically impossible, regardless of silly their name might sound.
Aussiedoodles, like both of their parents, are extremely intelligent and trainable animals. They are also eager to please and love having a job to do (whether it is playing catch or competing in agility). They are an excellent choice for intermediate dog owners that are able to keep up with their energy levels. These dogs will keep you active and entertained, so only consider bringing one of these beauties home if you can keep up with them.
Our F1 Aussiedoodles Puppies will come in a variety of colors due to the genetics in both parents.
Traditional Black Tri-color (black, white and rust)
